My foray into PR came in the form of a very detailed letter to the president of a large architectural firm in which I proposed a series of ideas to promote the company and its projects. I was 22. I had zero experience in PR. And, my actual job was answering phones and taking the company cars to the car wash. But not for long. That letter sparked a twenty year career in PR and marketing, beginning with a promotion from admin assistant to marketing manager.
This anecdote serves as a testament to who I am today. Savvy, creative and a firm believer that if you don’t speak up, no one will hear you.
Today, as a PR and marketing consultant, I pull from my experience across multiple industries and in varied positions to help small businesses find a voice, be heard and build their businesses.
